Sloshed in senses!!

This is pretty interesting and usually doesn't happen in office parties.
Well ! Recently a lot of people have got confirmed in the company from my team and hence a lot more parties were pending.. On Friday evening we got news that one of our team member is getting her next assignment in USA, which she wanted. So all these reasons forced us to think that if we don’t reap the pending ones now.. they may lapse (the parties I mean). An immediate plan was drafted and we finalized on small resort near the beach.
We were around 20 in number. Firstly there was lot tussle about how we sit.. (Seating 20 ppl close to each other is not an easy job). After settling down everyone ordered starters and something to drink. I preferred to have beer to give company. Now there were few our enthusiastic and reveller friends who were experienced drinkers. One buddy next to me was out and sleeping after the first few shots. The remaining veterans stood ground for some more time. One was worried about the ladies in the gang and apologized saying the "please excuse us !! we are out". Nice gesture, I’d say. Another friend of ours was more concerned about everybody having dinner properly. He ended up serving everybody himself leaving the waiters wondering if they will be tipped. Then there was another friend who was upset with me because he thought I was thinking funny of him as I was not drunk.
Finally we wrapped up from there somehow. Sobers taking care of people who were drunk.
Reaching back to my flat was again an experience as the roads appeared confusing @ 3 am. After going up and down for 45 mins we finally managed to reach the right way to home.
Was a good experience overall as no one misbehaved and girls were also sporting enough, not to mind little bit of nonsense.
